Wireless Power Transmission

In this project, microwave power transmitter system has been designed through which wireless power transmission has been demonstrated by transmitting a signal at 33 dBm and receiving powers of 9dBm and 14dBm at distances of 7 ft and 4 ft respectively. Signal transmission is done through a horn antenna and on the receiver side microstrip patch antenna is used. Received power is then transferred to HSMS 2820 rectifier diode through matching network. Power reception is indicated by lighting of LED and the receives power levels are verified to be in agreement with Friis equation.
