Bandpass Frequency Selective Surface for Radome Applications

In this thesis, frequency selective surface with second-order band-pass response has been designed using non-resonant sub-wavelength constituting unit cells with unit cell dimensions and periodicities on the order of 0.15lambda_{0} . Design and simulation of frequency selective surfaces was done at X band and Ku band and frequency selective surface at X band was fabricated and tested.
